where is the battery,on peugeot speedfight 100?

i have only purchased a peugeot speedfight2,second hand scooter,i know nothing about scooters,but i cannot find the battery to charge it?

in the centre of the footboard where your feet go under the black squarish panel,it should be a ytx5lbs sealed battery 12 volts use a low amp charger to charge it or you will buckle the lead plates
