TEFAL EXPRESS 2910 STEAM GENERATOR IRON ?

The soleplate on my iron has a small dent on the edge of it and is making a continuess line on all my clothing any ideas what I can do.

You can buy a new soleplate assy for this iron at a cost of around £30 the soleplate includes a new element but it is NOT a diy repair
