How do I open my washing machine?

I have a Hoover HP11 1100aa washing machine and the door mechanism has broken. There is a spring which when the handle is pulled moves a hook to open the door, I think the spring has snapped. How can I open the door without breaking the glass?

if u can take the front off take it off. then take the spring out and see if u can get a new one
