Bosch washing machine WFG2420?

Machine stopped mid cycle ready light flashing. I opened the door, closed it tried to restart to rinse but got ready light then after a few minutes flashing ready light. any ideas?

if its between 5 to 10 years old i think it might be the brushes in the motor have worn down.
