Volvo V40 Petrol ?

Car starts first time in the morning, drive to work
(10 miles )work full day then car starts first thing again, but if i have to stop anywhere petrol shops etc it want start ?

Engine coolant temp sensor giving the wrong info to engine ECU making it think the engine is cold and so setting the injection system for a cold start ie rich mixture
