noisey tumble dryer?

My tumble dryer has a earpeircing intermittent squeak. It is driving us mad. Hotpoint aquarius.

Iam not an engineer but i have a hotpoint ultima con dryer had the same sort of squeek and the engineer told us to put some grease on the pully wheel spindels for the belt and it worked no more squeek. Worth a try.
