Convert a UK version OC4 to US voltage?

I have a Dyson OC4 UK version 230/240volt 50Hz motor.
The Plug is designating 1 blade as a nuetral and the other as the hot. Is that correct? In the US only 110/120 and 277 v systems have nuetrals. The 277 has to come from a 3Phase source. Can I rewire the motor to work on US 110/120. Or will the 60 hz damage the motor. Another words is the only way around this is to buy some kind of converter?

the only way is to buy a brand new 110v motor from USA and fit this in the machine.

impossible to rewire. cheaper to buy proper voltage machine.
