the start button on my whirlpool awz tumble dryer will not stay in or turn on?

i have this dryer and had recently stopped working..after a fiddle it started again but only for a short time! so it heats up and makes a noise but doesnt seem to turn....is this problem similar to yours?

I have the same problem , took the switch off and found its burnt out. Looks like an easy(ish) repair but I am having problems locating the part number. The switch looks like it also has the door interlock attached. If you have a part number that would be great. Thanks
