Hoover Mach 2.4 with bag has poor suction. It drops dirt from the machine as I try to vacuum. Placing my hand over the hose feels like very little suction. Belts and bags have been changed, filters cleaned and as far as I can tell, there is no blockage in the air intake.

remove hose from unit and slid hose down over broom handle to check for a blockage.
