It has completly stopped working afrter a period of interrupted operating including black line halving the screen, switches off by itself,screen shrinks,picture as if tilting towards the inside of the screen.........................................................

Especially check frame output soldering, frame output i.c. LA7845N + fusible resistor FR553.
C521 high voltage capacitor for arcing.

Sounds like bad soldering on the board around the HT transformer. A word of caution here, this item generates extremely high voltages and you should really seak the help of an expert. Book it into a local service shop to be on the safe side. Trust me it hurts when it gets ya!
