Loose connector?

I have a Garmin Nuvi 250. The connector for charging and computer connection is loose inside. How can i get it open and fix the connection? I have priced the repair and it will cost about £55

I have exactly the same problem. Thinking of fixing the loose lead in permanantly with super glue or something similar
