Fiat Ducato / Citroen Relay / Peugeot Boxer Servicing schedule?

Hello,

I recently bought an 'S-reg' 1998 Fiat Ducato 1.9D (this is the same as the Citroen Relay / Peugeot Boxer), and it's just turned 90k miles. Everything works fine and I love driving it.

My uncle is a car fanatic, and in exchange for lending it to him, he's offered to do a service. The van has no service history, but does run fine. I bought the only service manual I could find - the Pocket Mechanic (Peter Russek manuals), but it doesn't say anything about servicing schedules. Sadly I have no user manual either.

So, could anyone here please offer some advice about what needs to be done on a full service?

Many thanks in advance,

Thomas.

All of the above is correct except that the timing belt on older models should have been changed at 120 000 KILOMETRES but all Peugeot from the last few years have been made 90 000 KILOMETERS.

I generally recommend that timing belts get done at 90 000Km as there was a very good reason Peugeot changed the interval....

Better safe than sorry.

a big service requires oil and filter change, fuel filter and air filter replacement and check brakes all round. then check tyre pressure and condition, ancillary drive belt condition, lights, wipers, underbody check etc. i think your timing belt should have been changed at 80,000 miles. has this been done? a big job but bigger job if belt snaps.
