my husband has a sukida crosser it starts well but the battery keeps cooking he got new regulator but it still happens.Please has anyone got any ideas what else could be happening.

The fault will probably be in the rectifier, if the voltage regulator is known to be good. The rectifier converts AC from the alternator to DC - acceptable to the battery.
