How can I fix my roper dryer, model #REX4634KQ1?

My clothes didn't dry, so I started the dryer again. Then, I thought the lint collecter was clogged, so I stupidly opened it while it was running, and it sucked the lint down into the blower. Afterwards, it started making a high pitched squeal and smelled like something was burning. How do I fix this problem? Thanks!

Hello.

You'll have to open up the dryer and clean the lint out. Start by removing the 2 screws under the lint screen cover and pop the top up. Then remove the 2 screws at the top of the front panel on the inside and drop the front panel towards you and lift off the bottom. After that you can remove the belt and drum to get inside the cabinet. Hope this helps.
