I have a volkswagen golf mk4 1999 version and I am encountering a problem with my central locking. When I press the lock button on my key all the doors except the front passenger one locks (the front passenger one unlocks) On the other hand when I press the unlock button every door unlocks except the front passenger one because this time it will lock itself.

I've bought it second hand, and this problem was there from the first day that I bought it second hand. One guy told me that I need to buy a complete lock actuator because probably the problem is coming from there. But before I buying I need to be sure that the fault is coming from the actuator so that I don't buy a new one and the problem still persist.
