How can I fix my ALBA STB8?

How can I fix my ALBA STB8 digital terrestial receiver.
Everything lights up but there is nothing on my tv screen.
It was last used approx. one year ago.
I have tried the AV button and different channels but the screen is snowy

Try selecting the av channel on the tv you should not get any snow on the digi channel if you do the tv is set wrong if its connected by scart .
