the engine has run before bout 3 months ago. The spark plug is fine as we haved checked and the engines is not ceased. It is a 2 stroke 175 yammaha engine there is 2 stroke oil and gearbox oil the engine jus does run we can get it started strated but will not run

i would say the carburettor needed to be drained from the small screw on the side at the bottom of it ,just undo it say 2 turns then allow the fuel to come out .make sure the fuel is turned off before you do it and it would be a good idea to empty the petrol tank and refill it with fresh fuel as its shelf life is less and less these days and if its been standing for a few months it can lose some of its combustible properties.ok adam
