washing machine no power on front panel?

hotpoint wf740, fuse in plug ok and power point working yet no power to front display( does not turn on).

ive been in touch with hotpoint (same problem with my machine) and its something called a pcb panel that needs replaced. this will cost £100 for parts and labour :( this is a common problem with hotpoints unfortunately :(
