how can i fix my brakelight problem on 98 chevy lumina?
I have a 98 chevy lumina and when I step on the brake my brake lights don't come on. I change fuses and and lights, is there anything else I can check?
If I remeber right ifs its a W body it willbe the brake light switch is bad and there was a recall on them
Yea and they aint no fun to replace .......
Call your local dealership to see if its still a free repair

It sounds like either a brake light switch or a problem in the turn signal switch .........could be a open wire in system also
