Hi Brian, there's a fair bit of work in replacing the cable as the mirrors, handlebar cowling, throttle grip, front panel, belly panel, seat bucket all have to come off just to root the new cable & get at the carb.
If you're handy with the spanners then it's an easy enough fix if you take your time otherwise download the service manual off the net & you shouldn't go wrong.
