You will need to remove the clutch and sprocket, there is a special tool to remove the clutch ( it is a left hand thread ) do not tap the clutch centre as this is a sintered material and the legs will snap off. Once removed, take out the two philips head screws from the black pump cover, the pump will then come away, do not lose the rubber seal on top of the pump body, under the pump body is the delivery pipe, on the end of this is the pick up filter, gently insert an appropriate tool into the pipe and lever it out of the tank. It maybe the filter just needs cleaning, and not a new pump. The pump gear is an interference fit on the crankshaft and special tools are required to remove this component, if the gear is loose on the crank it will need replacing.
