Heater not working on numbers 1, 2 and 3, but is working on number 4. can anyone tell me "how to mend it"

there is a green resistor next to the fan under the front wiper
this changes the resistance to the motor giving the 4 speeds
. i had the same problem with mine i started with losing one settling and over a month i lost the lot .
you have to get it from a main dealer it just plugs in but it is fiddly.
