my secondhand dell latitude is askin for a pass word can i by pass this it reads on screen as follow hard disk#ahoahgt 4061d35b password protected pls help
go to the dell web site & you'll find how to restore it to factory settings ready for you to use, i did it with a supposedly dead pc with no problems.

go back to the person who sold it to you - ask if they came by the laptop legitimately - if they did they are sure to be able to help you with the password.
