how to renew cambelt.astra 1996?

need to renew cambelt on 1700 turbo diesel astra sohc cannot see any timing marks anywhere with covers removed.any help appreciated.

Pretty sure this engine must be pinned before removing the belt. Get a Haynes manual, £20 well spent.

if there are no timing marks you can always put your own on,before removing the belt,using white paint or tipex. mark the crankshaft,camshaft & injector pump pulleys.
