My hoover ws130-001 washing machine stopped mid cycle (without spinning). The water fills and empties o.k but every time i turn it on it spins 3 or 4 times then stops ! there are no sparks from the motor and i cannot find any obvious fault, any idea's would be greatly appreciated. Thamks

I had the same issue.It turned out to be one of the brushes on the motor was stuck up , where it should have been pushed against the motor with a spinng.Remove motor clean brushes ( found on side of motor).
