hi there hope some one can help my escort55 seems to be leaking diesel from an area round the tank it was fine untill i more or less filled the tank with diesel i drove about fourty miles then it started leaking slowly cant seem to find out where from and why?

escorts suffer rot everywhere. drop the tank and have a look on top. you'll probably find the weight of a full tank has split the tank or could be as simple as the gasket around the sender.
