how do i fix my thomson tv?

When i try to turn my thomson tv on it often will not turn on and the stand by button will flash when i press the standby on button, sometimes it will turn of after about 10-20 mins and will not come back on. please can someone help me, my thomson tv does not say the model no. on the front but it is a 28 inch widescreen tv.

i got a new remote to program it to my thomson tv and when installing it the tv turned off and since then the red light keeps on flickering and i cnt switch the tv on can someone help me?

We have a thomson 32 inch black diva the remote has been misplaced and it is saying language setup we hav bought a new remote but it is in fact Phillips is there another way to get in to the system?

I suspect a leaky flyback transistor or dry joints to it or around flyback transformer.
I seem to recall there being a modification to the flyback transformer on some of the Thomson widescreen models, requiring a new transformer type, plus replacement of a few peripheral components, including the flyback transistor.
