wireless switch?

My Advent 4211 -c lost my internet connection. I have tried all the usual but it is not finding any networks & saying the "wireless switch" is off ??
I cannot find any info on this anywhere on the help

look for a picture like an antenna on one of your keys - normally it is shown on one of the 'F' keys at the top of your keyboard. this picture is normally coloured differently, such as blue, and indicates you must press a function key to use it.
near your space bar you should have a key labled 'FN' or something similar. press this in conjuction with the key you found with the antenna picture on and it will switch your wireless back.
also some laptops are wireless enabled with a switch on the side of the machine.

"all the usual" is teeming with hidden meaning...

Some laptops have a key on the top row to turn wireless on and off - on my machine it's Fn + F2 but I never use it...

Try navigating to Network Connections
You should see a wireless icon
Right click on it
Select View Available Wireless Networks
Connect to your router

Good luck...
