how can i fix my dyson upright vacuum cleaner?

my upright dyson vacuum cleaner has no suction, i can feel suction via the handle/extension but not at part which is nearest floor

DC01, check the rubber flaps at the bottom of the flexible wand
DC04 / DC07 check the flexy tube that connects the sole plate - where the brushes are - to the body. Usually splits!
