how can i fix my vauxhall corsa 1.3 cdti cold start problem?

had cold start problem last year, fitted new glow plugs, still a problem. vauxhall had it in, had new relay and glow plug ecu. still a problem, they then said there was a wiring fault, which they fixed. now less than a year later same problem. i know its done 94k but its only a 53 plate!

For what it costs I would pop in a Coolant temperature sender!
There is a dealer bulletin where they state it needs an uprated starter motor.

i had a recall to the vauxhall dealership on a corsa 08 d model 1.3 cdti .they had to change the starter or a module on the starter for cold starting .did not see any difference as there was no problem before.cannot say they are the best engines as mine smokes a lot when cold until warm.

other option is break it and sell me the engine, mine blew a turbo and melted a piston

are you using correct grade of engine oil, makes a big difference when freezing, also is battery correct amp/hour for your vehicle type, this also makes a big difference to speed of engine turning over.[needs to turn as fast as possible on a diesel engine]
