my tv is saying no signal?

I gave this tv to my daughter for christmas, but cant get it going. Is still showing 'no tv signal' on the screen.

are you sure you're on the digital channels? If you are in the uk, you may no longer have analogue tv. Try changing the input to DTV. Hope this helps.
