Vectra warning light?

I have a vectra 1800, 2001. What does it mean when the warning light comes on with a car and a spanner through the roof?

I also have the same problem with a 2000 sxi. Any other soloutions out there that would save a visit to the Vauxhall dealer ?

This problem will need to be taken up with a Vauxhall Centre. They will need to reprogram (reset) the ECU on the vehicle.... causes are engine will not start up! ... immobilizer fault via the ECU. Other causes are for example if the ley barrel was changed then the imb will certainly kick in and prevent the vehicle from being started.... this recently happened to my b-i-l and it cost £20 for vauxhall to come out to repair it!!
