was riding home from work sudenly the bike lost exceleration and my speed was also effected as though i had used the back brake when i pulled over and reved the thing the back wheel wouldnt turn but engine seems fine thinkin could be the chain maybe. The exhaust is still conected to the manafold its a mistery to me could really do with it running by the morning can anyone shed any light on my problem please?

like bb says your belt has either broken or the end of the variator has come off the crankshaft which is common on these as the nuts comes undone if its not tight and loctited on.unfortunately they also strip the spines off the end of the crank that keys the variator onto it.have a look but leave the kickstart lever bolted on!

so your engine revs but wheel does not go round?
These are belt driven and i would say your belt has gone. remove belt cover and have a look
