cant connect laptop to wireless internet?

wireless connection signal strenth is strong but unable to connect to internet via home hub diagnosis cant find the problem could the problem be soft ware related and if so how can i fix the problem

If it is a HH 2.0 the problem could be one of these:

1) If your PC has an 802.11n WiFi Adapter then, as has be saids already, refresh the drivers for it.

2) Alternatively download a free program called inSSIDer. Use this to find out what WiFi Channels are in use locally and then set the HH to use one that isn't in use and is at least two channels away from any that are.

3) If the failure is occurring when you enter the encryption key, (again assuming HH 2.) ensure that PC's WiFi adapter supports WPA.

Connect via a cable and download the latest driver for your machine's wireless device.
