Dear friends hello.
I have almera 98' slxi,
when ever i step on gas (fast) the car "gets choked" means almost turns off.
and sometimes it does turn off. i cleaned the throttle with carburetor cleaner, by my self (: and there is a partial Improvement.
from your experience what do you suggest??

Take the fast idle air valve off the front of the throttle body, clean it properly and the problem will be fixed.
