overheating problem 1st time, what cud be da prob?
vw golf 1.4L 16v engine has just started overheating problems after driving bout 8miles temp goes to red and the engine boils. Its an R reg with a fairly new engine.
is it ok until you drive it and when you drive it on hard it over heats and the hot air inside goes then its your water pump as the water propeler has come lose and you need a new water pump

hello m8 check your water level and make shore its free from oil( if oil in water head gasket) if its a new engine could be the thermo stat. check to see if the car heaters are getting hot (if not could just need a bleed) ps make shore your not leaking water....
