how can I fix my squeaking Whirlpool electric dryer?

how can I fix my squeaking 7 Year old Whirlpool electric dryer . It squeaks real loud when you first turn it on, then it quiets down after a few minutes.

Hello,

It sounds like your idler pulley that keeps the pressure on the belt might be going bad. If you pop the top panel, then remove the screws in the front panel you can look to be sure.
