Dryer Starters?

My dryer will not start (turn on) what are the potential problems and how much to fix. I have reset the breaker checked the electrical outlet, moved the dryer settings to all potential modes but it won't start. Is this a potential starter or what? I have a Whirlpool dryer that is 10-12 years old (middle type model with turn style knobs for selection of time and push buttons for temperature).

You state you have reset the circuit breaker, which makes me think it keeps blowing for some reason? If this is the case you may have a short circuit and need to analyse this fault further.
Look for trapped/freyed wires and repair before re trying.
Chack also for fuses and fuses in the plug itself. Good luck.
