Husqvarna 455 Leaks Oil when not running?

After using my saw, chain oil leaks all over the place for a period of days. Is this a common problem, and can anything be done to prevent this?

It is fairly common, chainsaws have a constant loss oiling system, onto the chain and away, there are no elaborate seals on the oil pump or oil tank, normally there is plenty of saw dust around to soak it up, if it is very bad its as well to get the dealer to check there is not a crack in the oil tank seam ( this is a friction welded seam ), or if the pick up rubber is not seating correctly.
