help with gears?

hi l have a jinlun 125 -11 when l was ridin her for about 10 miles man she was cruising but then the clutch stuck and l couldnt pull the clutch lever in so took it round a mates we took the clutch cover off the four springs etc now theres a nuts holding the clutch this was wel loose we inspected the plates they r fine refitted the clutch and replaced that nut and tightened it up hey we have a clutch thats works but l only get 1st and 2nd gears none of the rest any ideas pleased why i cant get anymore gears and why that nut was loose thanks

You might of accidently damaged something in the gearbox by inadvertantly hammering the clutch or being too keen on dismantling/re-assembly? if you have, and this clutch is on the mainshaft (my guess it is) then its likely the forces transferred through to said g/box & put something out of line,whether its a bearing or cogs is anyones guess! Secondly, you may love your bike but dont waste your hard earned on these cheap & dangerous bits of c##p,with the same money you can get a decent 2nd hand Jap.No offence intended.PS, did you loctite that ctr nut?
