the dash lights on my picasso (2002)have gone very dim, not quite out but dim enough to make it hard to see the read out in daylight

i had same problem with mine, not all dash lights effected just half, traced it to blown back light bulbs in the back of the dash cluster 10 minute job to replace them. the plastic cluster surround just pops out, use a decorators scrapper to ease it out then 4 star drive screws to remove cluster. Twist bulbs half turn to remove them. good luck
