location of engine id?

i am looking for the location of the engine number on a citroen saxo 1.5 diesel 99. dont know where to start. Can any one help.

Engine number is on the right hand side of the engine as you look from under the bonnet its on the flange casting where the gearbox bolts to the engine just below the cylinder head could be quite hard to see.hope this helps Ryan.
