in top left hand corner Ive got EC2/RGB - how do i get rid of it!?

EC2/RGB constantly showing in top left hand corner of tv - panasonic viera tx-23lxd60 - have pressed a few buttons on the remote but nothing gets rid of it. Help!!

You need to press the "information display" button. This button can be identified by a small "+" or "i" symbol depending upon your particular r/c.
