I have just drove home and pushed my foot on clutch to change gear but clutch stayed to the floor. I can move it up and down with hand but there is nothing there, really loose. Does anyone know what could be wrong and if so will it cost much?

your hydraulic clutch system has failed. it sounds like it will be the slave cylinder for your clutch. or your master cylinder.
