hi there,
the glow plug relay is what has the time delay for the light and the glow plugs check the fuse and the relay the contacts might have burnt out. it runs the whole system.
tip take the relay out take the top cover off and it will show copper coils and contacts just like the old points sytem there should be two sets of points sand the contacts with a bit of fine sand paper it could save you a few bob. if it doesnt work replace the relay but 9 times out of 10 it works.good luck.
