How can I fix water leak on my vauxhall Corsa (02 plate)?

Have water in drivers footwell after it rains. It is not a blockage but someone says it could be coming in through the pedal box seal. Is it difficult to fix pedal box seal if decayed? Anyone have any experience with this. Thanks.
