LG Plasma TV 42PQ3 black screen after USB plugging?

I have plugged a flash disk that has mettalic outer shape wrongly in the usb port, immediately the screen went black. It seems a short circuit occured in the usb port.
What is the extent of the damage and how could it be fixed?
