how can I fix my 1989 chevy silverado?

how can I fix my 1989 chevy silverado? It is sputtering when I give it gas..already changed the fuel pump and filter and that didn't help the problem.

Sounds as if its getting too much fuel or not enough air
have you checked the air filter and air intake ?
