unit making a loud squeal how easy is to replace motor pump and how to remove copper pipes held in by plastic joints do i need a tool to release part no 4 or am i looking at it all wrong

If your shower is a Aquastream you will find special tools on the inside of the cover which are required to use when removing the unit from the pipes. To remove the pump is quite easy, and does not require you to remove the unit from the wall, only removal of the cover - instructions were sent with the new pump - was about a 30 min job
