my speedflight starts 1st time in the cold weather but when the rain comes it can b very temprementle could this b damp, electronic start wont bite but have to kick start any suggestions new spark my b

actually they are fitted as standard with a runner grommit over the plug cap whicch also forms the seal in to the plastic surround, and as adam says crappy mechanis always leave these off when they fit lb05f plug caps when replaced. these do have their own seal but they arent good enought for the job! even if the rear mudflap wasnt there as long as it had the right seal there it still wouldnt be a problem!

jon have a look where the plug is where the rear mudguard is near it there should be a smallish black plastic panel that stops the ht cap from getting wet in the rain as the water flys off the rear tyre onto it if its missing and causes a bad misfire.people often lose them while riding or crappy mechanics leave them off as they dont understand what its for.
